One of the most pleasant and intriguing surprises of 2010, Barcelona's enigmatic Downliners Sekt have won over a string of illustrious characters, ranging from Mary Anne Hobbs to Kevin “The Bug” Martin, among many others. The duo give a good going-over to the best of the past, ranging from the science of Autechre to the ghostly echoes of the Burial Mix series, and blend it in with dubstep, downtempo and UK garage, and once it is all mashed up together, they dust it down with slices of R&B vocals.
