Rewind: Andreas Ryser (Dustbowl) and Daniel Jakob (Dejot) started their music career in 2003, at the entrance tp Sónar, playing live in the street. Using a do-it-yourself-nobody-else-will-do-it-better approach, they have carved out a career making the most of all the tools they had had to hand. Their daring projects range from releasing a track every month online to creating a mobile sound system. Fast forward: with its roots always in dub, the Filewile sound has evolved to take in electronica, (space)funk and hip-hop, as well as the odd pop reference. ”Blueskywell,” their second album, brings them back to Sónar as a band line-up.
